Ashley Young is an artist based in

Marietta, Georgia, with a BFA from the University of Georgia (go Dawgs!) and more than twenty years of painting experience.

 

As a mom of three energetic boys, her life is full of motion, noise, and beautiful chaos - and her art has become a way of slowing down and noticing the beauty that often hides in plain sight.

 

Her work focuses on abstract florals and landscapes, exploring both the sweeping feeling of a place and the intricate details that make it meaningful. Using acrylic paint and gold foil on wood panels, she builds layers of texture and movement within each piece, then finishes her work in resin to create depth, light, and a sense of wonder.
