With Field Notes, I wanted to explore what happens when we slow down and look closely. Much of my inspiration comes from fleeting moments—the way light catches on something small, the texture of a surface, or the delicate edge of a flower. These paintings are my way of collecting those moments, almost like sketches in a notebook, but rendered in paint. This body of work is about honoring the quiet beauty in the ordinary and creating space for reflection through attention to detail.
